32 Weeks

Well folks here we are at the 8 MONTH mark! This week our little baby doll is anywhere between 17 to 19 inches long and about 4 1/2 lbs. At this stage in fetal development, she could grow a full inch more this week alone. You know what that means.. Mama's gonna grow at that rate too! I'm so scared for my expanding skin! So far I've been lucky to not get any stretch marks, but it's not over till it's over. Cocoa butter and I have become even closer friends, seeing as we meet up with each other now at least 3 times a day.
Today, D and I went to our first of six Lamaze classes. Very informative and fun. Our classes are 3 hours long and take up a big chunk of our morning, but it's worth it when you walk away with such a feeling of empowerment. I actually had two braxton hicks contractions while in the class and thought it was almost like my body was saying "alright mama! I'm with ya... let's do this!" Let's do this indeed! Tomorrow is my EEG test that I told you all about here and I'm a little nervous but trying to stay as positive as possible. We don't actually know what's going on yet, so there's no point in upsetting myself. Otherwise, I'm feeling the same as usual- RLS, it's harder to breath, feet and back pains, etc. Even so, I know it could be worse and I'm grateful I've had the pregnancy that I've had so far. Now if I can just pass this EEG test with flying colors!!! Fingers crossed.

Dear Baby Doll,
Tomorrow is a big day for us. Mama's been having a few issues during the past couple of weeks and now it's time to get to the bottom of it all. Naturally, my number one priority is that I'm healthy so that you are healthy. I'm sure that everything will work out fine, and that you're completely unaware of anything negative going on. Just want you to know that I hope this is the case forever. Me and your dad, taking care of anything and everything that pops up in order for you to live the most positive and healthy life as possible. Your Pops and I love you very much and think you're just the bee's knees kid! Can't wait to show you that every single day.
