The Dizzies

30 weeks, 4 days
This morning I woke up, took a shower and got all ready to take on my day when it hit me...
I still gots The Dizzies yo!
I think Amber is right. I am anemic after all but the "just in case" iron pills that I've already been taking aren't the right ones for me. I stayed home in bed with the little birdie because I was too scared to drive but D's gonna pick up some new pills for me on his way home from work. Fingers crossed that it helps!

This is our "Friday" since D has another 4 day weekend and I can't wait to take care of some more household DIY projects with him tomorrow! This time we're building the coffee table for the living room. When I say "we" I really mean "D" because I won't actually do the building... but I will hand him all of his tools and do the painting. It's a team effort.
I've been shopping online all day for little odds and ends to finish decorating the living room as well. I'm trying my best to bring in a few more bold and contrasting elements since we've got some unexpected colors going on right now. Golden yellow and brown haven't exactly been a part of our color palette in the past. Luckily, I still think it looks really awesome and I'm sure we'll get it to just where we want. I can't wait for it to be finished. Woot woot!

p.s. we have a new button if you'd like to use that one on your page instead! xoxo

  1. You should try liquid iron. I find it's easier on my stomach. and it absorbs better.
I use floradix. You can only get it from healthfood stores or organic markets though. You should maybe check with your doctor first though as I'm not pregnant. But I much prefer it to pills.

  2. hi jess! a bit of unsolicited advice: you might check to see about liquid iron tonic as opposed to pills, if you still have issues. the tonic's not quite as harsh (worked much better for me, always took it with a bit of orange juice). and the underwater camera belongs to a friend-- it's a panasonic DMC-TS1, a regular digital camera with video functions that just so happens to be waterproof. have a good weekend! :o)

  4. I am still extremely anemic, prenatal pills made me throw up, reg. iron pills made me throw up. Try Slow iron FE. works like a charm. it distbrutes the iron slowly throughout the day that way its not all at one time.
