Busy Birdies

Yesterday was non-stop. We did everything on our to-do list except pick up D's motorcycle. He can't drive it right now because it's not registered so we bought a ramp to get it into his truck and basically wasted one hundred frickin dollars because he still couldn't get it up the steep ramp by himself (and it'll just be me and 2 other girls at the photo shoot so no help there). Now I have to hustle today and find another place to take pictures. Need something industrial or a cool wall or something...

Mama & Baby Bird: 34 weeks, 5 days
Treated myself to another iced chai. These are seriously my new biggest craving!
Papa Bird being a gentleman and carrying the bags.

We came home last night to three packages on our doorstep and one note from the mailman saying that we have another box waiting for us at the post office! I effing love getting things in the mail.
So hitting up the post office and scouting photo shoot spots are my plans for today.. and I have a baby's first b-day party to attend.. phew!
Hope you're all having a fun-filled weekend!

  1. Looking good for almost 35 weeks!

  2. you are so stylish! at this point i was all about stretchy and comfy...

  3. I also love getting things in the mail!
You look so cute for almost 35 weeks, I was in sweats and I didn't even bother with trying to look cute lol.

  4. Jess and Jazmyn: thanks!!... and oh trust me ladies I'm wearing "jeggings" in those pictures! Comfort is still part of my style list ;o)

  5. Man oh man I agree with what everyone has been saying. You look so adorable! Such an inspiration for PG women that we DON'T have to look frumpy and mom-ish -- even at the end!

  6. Lori: thanks i know that's exactly how i feel. i mean don't get me wrong, i COMPLETELY understand if people don't want to get all dolled up because they're just tired, or uncomfortable, or not leaving the house that day.. but that's just not how i am. i've always gotten all ready even just to go down the street to stop into a store really quick or even when i'm sick with a cold or i know i'm not leaving the house. it just makes me feel better and i enjoy it ;o) People try to say to me "after you actually have your baby that'll all change" but honestly i KNOW 100% that won't be the case for me because that's not who i am. and ot doesn't really take me that long to do my makeup so it's really not that big of a deal.

  7. You are so beautiful!! I love your style also! Being pregnant doesn't mean its time to let yourself go! And you definitely haven't! You're fabulous! I refuse to own any sort of sweatpants. The most lounge wear that I own are my yoga shorts or my work out leggings. haha. And I only wear those two things to bed or to work out. haha. I don't even own any t-shirts anymore. Just a couple v-necks that I wear to work.
I hope you have a wonderful day today!

  8. I just came across your blog... great photos and congrats on your pregnancy! We have three kiddos and are adopting twins from Ethiopia... After giving birth 2 times I had my fill... Hope your last weeks go smoothly and that you get to hold your little one soon!

  10. Posidanielle: thanks girl! we are so much alike! haha ;o)

Jamie: hello! and thank you! That's so awesome that you're adopting! ;o)

With Love, Jamie: thanks dollface XOXO

  11. I love when my husband carries the bags! :)

Thanks for stopping by my page and offering advice about Maui! It was just what I needed. We decided not to go and save money for buying a new car (which we need more than a vacation). Thank you!

  12. Janet: no problem, glad I could help a little ;o)
