Someday

I've always wanted to live in a pink house. When D and I first started dating I told him this and asked "Would you ever buy a pink house? Would you live in a pink house with me?"
His answer was yes! (after all, the boy does rock pink shoes on occasion)
We're still not homeowners but when we are I'm gonna hold him to that answer.
A pink house is just fun!
Plus, how easy would giving directions be? "Oh you turn onto _____ street and it's the pink house on the right. You can't miss it."
::wink::

    That's a pink house in my town. I think it looks like birthday cake and I love it. I hear it's decorated in Morroccan style. I would love to see inside.

  2. Oh my gosh Jess! I lived in a pink house right after college with my two best friends! It was so much fun, and we definitely enjoyed saying "oh, it's the pink house on the right!" whenever possible. Sadly, I drove by it the other day while down in Scottsdale and they had painted it BROWN! Sad day.

    Anyway, I hope you guys get your pink house one day <3.

  3. I adore these!! Especially the first, second, third and last ones.

    I've always wanted to live in a painted lady house. They're always so rustic, yet feminine. It makes me want to have tea parties with gloves and skirts and teacakes every time I see one.

  7. Too cute. Pastel colored houses always put me in a beachy mood, since lots of the beach condos in FL are pastel. I think it suits ya!

  8. Our second home together was a pink brick house. One day, while giving the guys who were delivering our new couch directions, I said, "It's the pink brick house on the left". They both started giggling, "Really? Pink? Yeah right!". Yes, really! I loved giving people directions to that house. I hope your pink house dreams really do come true!

  14. I grew up in a traditional stuffy New England neighborhood with black, grey, brown and white houses only. I always thought I wouldn't want to live in a colorful house - yet now I live in the cutest yellow house :] I love it! Then again my mom grew up in the Bahamas - the land of pastel homes. Maybe a little bit of that rubbed off on me.

    There is a house in my neighborhood that overdid it... they painted EVERYTHING dark purple - window frames, door frames, DOOR KNOB, CEMENT STAIRS! It is madness. MADNESS! And purple. So purple.

  15. That first house totally reminds me of the Pink Palace Apartments from the movie Coraline.
