Rowan is 10 months old today and as happy as ever. She's not quite walking yet but still manages to magically get into everything. She's becoming more and more talkative and mimicking lots of the things we do and say. Of course my favorite is when she says "mama", but she's a big fan of "dada" and "doi doi" too. Every time I take her up the staircase I stop at the family pictures and point to each one of us, teaching her "that's mama, that's papa and that's Rowan!" and she remembers. The next time I pass the pictures I say "where's mama?" and although she doesn't point, her eyes go straight to me(and to her papa and herself when I ask her where they are). She's understanding more and more every day and it really is amazing to watch her pick up on new things.
I love this little gal..
shrugging her shoulders, playing on the office rug, straws, climbing, her cookie monster toy, trying to get into all of our shoes, cuddling, watching old cartoons on my iPhone in the car, blowing raspberries, sitting in the cart at the grocery store, standing up on her own.
Rowan doesn't love:
having a cold/fever, not being allowed to get into the trash can, if you take anything away from her.
18 lbs, 3 oz and 28 inches.
Some of Rowan's firsts:
9 months, 2 days- first cold, first time trying finger foods
9 months, 4 days- first time she stood up on her own
9 months, 13 days- first time she knew who each one of us was on the family picture wall
9 months, 29 days- first time playing her mini piano
