Rowan had a nice little birthday yesterday. She woke up and found streamers and presents in the living room when we came downstairs. We played all morning until her 1 year doctor's appt (yes, poor thing had to get 3 shots on her b-day but she was a trooper) then we played some more until D finally got home from work around 7pm. We had dinner and then sang her "Happy Birthday" before feeding her a little cake. It wasn't anything fancy but she loved her presents and I'm sure she'll have a blast at her birthday party this Saturday.

ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY ROWAN!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!!! I love the idea of decorating the living room with streamers. I've heard of people blowing up balloons and putting them in the bedroom while the kid sleeps, but I'm actually terrified of balloons & kids lol. So this idea is much more easier on my anxiety levels ;) ahha
