The Zoo

My parents flew in this week to visit so we've been non-stop and I don't see us slowing down much (they'll be here for three weeks and then D's parents visit for another three) but I'll try to blog as often as I can. I've obviously been neglecting the blog these past few months but honestly, it's been really great and I definitely feel like I have my priorities straight these days. I haven't been very present in my other social networks either but I'm grateful to those who have stuck around with my new online routine because between all of our family that is/will be visiting, my music/recording goals, Rowan and family time, I really don't have much left for anything else.
Phew!
Now let's get to our little trip to the zoo yesterday.

  2. I've been to that zoo! Haha! I'm glad you're having a good time with the family and everything is going well, everyone deserves a little break from time to time. Rowan looks adorable petting the goats, did she like them?

Also - totally jealous of your weather's it's been gray and raining and much too cold!

  3. Jess! I freaking love all of these. You look just like your mom, A. B, Rowan man. She's so freaking cute. Glad you guys are having fun and exploring :)

I'd be substituting "freaking" with another word if I didn't want to cause you lose followers ;) Though I am having a drink right now, whoops!

I might as well just end this ridiculous comment, haha.

  6. so fun! beautiful pictures.
I completely understand where you are coming from and good for you for stepping away to tend to your priorities. the one think i learned about blogging and social networks is that they can become all consuming. one time jonas was asking me a question and i said "hold on" while i finished posting a tweet. that was it for me. it snapped me back into reality and i thought what am i doing?? since then it's kids and family, making jewelry and working out for me first. the social networks will always be there for me to pop in and out of.
