Please excuse a few blurry photos but I had pictures taken from my DSLR, my phone, other people’s phones and it’s just an assortment of fun moments that I didn’t want to leave out of this post just because they weren’t crystal clear.

Our Christmas was pretty awesome this year. Everyone was in good spirits and really, when you have a kid, that’s enough to make your day. No tantrums, woot woot! We woke up at 6am and started the present opening... My parent’s slept over Christmas Eve so they could spend Christmas morning with us so I made an eggs benedict casserole to pop in the oven Christmas morning so I could just hang with everyone and take pictures/open presents instead of dealing with lots of cooking. Everyone loved all of their gifts from Santa & Rowan got everything she put on her wishlist so she scored. After presents we ate breakfast (cinnamon rolls for Rowan) and hung out for a couple of hours until we left to see the movie Sing, which was super cute. After the movie we were off to have dinner and visit with my brother-in-law’s family where we enjoyed carne asada burritos and played Pie Face. I highly recommend this game, it's so fun and hilarious. After visiting the family we headed home, got ready for bed, in our comfy pjs and watched some of The Office until bedtime. It was the perfect Christmas. I hope that you all had a great day as well and although I’m sad that Christmas is over, I’m very excited to ring in the new year and all that comes with it. Happy holidays!

Today is the first day of Rowan’s winter break so we started it off with some cookie baking, complete with Christmas music on blast, giggling and a sneaky little elf who couldn’t resist dipping a finger into the frosting every 20 seconds. I really don’t want the holidays to end..
